On/Off Campus Living
A Message from the Manager of Residence Life, Matthew Guy
Whether you have chosen to live on or off campus, Acadia, Wolfville, and the Annapolis Valley makes a great place to live. If you have chosen to live in residence you will find yourself among an amazing group of students who will quickly become your friends. Our residences are communities of first year and upper year students and are often described as being “like a family” with a level of support and friendship they provide. Our residence communities are as diverse as our campus and you will get to know students from across the country and across the world.
Living in residence is a valuable part of the educational experience at Acadia and I encourage you to get involved in programs and events in your residence and across campus. If you have ideas for events or activities, talk to the leadership team in the residence who welcome ideasand input. Our Resident Assistants (RAs) and House Councils are here to ensure you have a great year living in residence and to help you should you need any assistance.
Residence Life provides unique opportunities for friendship and development – seize these opportunities, get involved with your community and enjoy your time with us.
If at any point you need any assistance, speak to your RA or Residence Don or anyone else in the Residence Life and Student Services Team.
